How to Rent

We reccoment that you reserve the vehicle of choice in advance. There are multiple ways you can reserve vehicle;
- customers can reverve vehicles through the Website by filling out the Reservation Form
- customers can also reserve vehicles by emailing us
- customers can also reserve vehicles by mailing our Main Office
- customer can reserve vehicles by calling our Main Office telephone numbers
- and finally, our office is easy to find and we have an open door policy so feel free to come into our Main Office and get your vehicle.
Rental Requirements
Driver/s must present a valid driver's licence and an identification card/Passport.
Office Hours
Office hours may vary. Please give us a call if you will be arriving on a holiday to discuss our office hours of operation. (Arrangements Can Be Made)
Monday - Friday: 08:00 hours to 16:00 hours
Saturday: 09:00 hours to 16:00 hours
Sunday and Holidays: Closed
Rental Rates
All rental rates are based on a 24-hour period. Our vehicles are not available on an hourly rate. Rental on vehicles are available daily, Weekly, monthly and yearly.
Rental Rate ranges from USD$25.00 to USD$100.00
Payment Methods
Dollys Auto Rental accepts the following methods of payment:

Security Deposit
Every vehicle comes with an individual Security Deposit, deposit amount will vary depending on the type and value of the vehicle. The Deposit is refunded upon the return of the rental vehicle; providing that the vehicle is in the same physical and mechanical condition you rented it.
Security Deposit ranges from USD$300.00 to USD$500.00
The following are accepted for deposit:

Refueling Charge
You will be provided with fuel at the time of your rental. We ask that you return the vehicle with the same fuel level. The fuel level amount will be printed on your rental contract. If upon the return of vehicle the fuel level is less, you will be charged based on current fuel price.
International Drivers
International customers are welcome! Before you start enjoying the fun of renting a vehicle and driving in Guyana, you are required by law to obtain a 30-Day Driver's Permit prior to rental. You can obtain a Permit at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport Timehri, E.B.D, by requesting a Driver's Permit from the Officer in Charge of Customs upon your arrival OR Stop by the Inland Revenue Department - License Revenue Division, Smyth & Princess Streets, Georgetown (Telephone number (592) 223 5501). Be sure to walk with your valid driver's license or an international driver's license.
Late Charge
Hirer must make all payments up-front if he exceed the contracted time period you are required to come in to our Main Office and extent your rental time if needed. Failing to do so an additional fee will be charged for every day to the daily rate.
Vehicle Choice
Although, we will try our very best to provide you with the vehicle of your choice. We ask for you to choose an alternative vehicle in the event your first choice becomes unavailable. Unfortunately, we have no control over vehicles not being returned by customers on time or if the vehicle is returned with physical or mechanical damage.
Driving Rules & Regulations in Guyana
Guyana state law requires that when you are traveling in a motor vehicle, the person who drives or rides on the front seat of a motor vehicle must wear seat belts at all times. A person under 17 years of age shall not drive a motor vehicle on a road. Driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs is a serious offense in Guyana.

Vehicles are not allowed across Guyana border without permission from Rental authority.
